Fresh Cuts, Essence of Love, &Totally Tabs

Aged Parchment

Stamp Set: Fresh Cuts

Card Stock: Very Vanilla Chocolate Chip, & Bordering Blue

Ink: Chocolate Chip & Bordering Blue

Accessories: Pewter Build a Brad, Instant Coffee, heat tool, & Stampin’ Sponges

To create the aged parchment look, mix 1 tablespoon of instant coffee with water in a shallow dish. Using either Whisper White or Very Vanilla Card Stock, crumple the paper, then smooth out. Immerse in the instant coffee. Leave in until the desired color is achieved. If you would like, drop a few granules of instant coffee directly on the wet card stock for a greater variation of color. Remove from water, pat dry with paper towels, then use the heat tool to dry the paper. Stamp as desired.

To create the "button" I stamped the flower image from this set on a piece of the aged parchment, then used the 1/2 inch punch to punch it out. I then used the Build A Brad kit to make the "button". VERY easy!

Brayered Sky

Stamp Set: Essence of Love

Card Stock: Whisper White, More Mustard, Really Rust, & Always Artichoke

Ink: So Saffron, More Mustard, Really Rust, & Basic Black

Accessories:: Brayer, Stampin’ Sponges, Post It, Notes, & Crafter’s Tool Kit

Go to my stamping resources to find the link to splitcoast for instructions for this technique.

Stamp Sets: Totally Tabs & Sweet Serendipity

Card Stock: Pretty in Pink, Almost Apricot, Bashful Blue, Certainly Celery, Basic Black, & Berry Bliss Designer Paper

Ink: Basic Black

Accessories: Round Tab Punch, 3/4 inch circle & Square Punches, Work Window Punch, large & small oval punches, soft subtles brads, & 1/16 inch handheld punch

I stamped the "purses" using the Totally Tabs stamp set, the used the Round tab punch to punch them out of the card stock. I then used the cirlce, square, & word window punches to create the purse flaps. Added the brads to make the purse clasps. To create the handles, use the large oval punch, then carefully insert the punched card stock in the small oval punch. Takes a little bit of practice, but it's well worth the effort!!!

Hey, Kathy I was just doing some blog surfing and your popped up. I'm an SU demonstrator as well so I loved visiting your blog. Love this little purse card. It has real purse-n-ality!!! I'll have to try that with my punches.
