Ballet Blue, Whisper White, & Regal Rose

Ink
Ballet Blue, Whisper White, Night of Navy, & Regal Rose

To create the Faux Denim Background, use a medium blue card stock & ink (I chose Ballet Blue), a dark blue ink (I chose Night of Navy), and a white ink.

Apply the Ballet Blue ink to the Ballet Blue Card Stock in long swipes lengthwise on the card stock. Allow ink to dry-takes a while to dry. Do the same with the Night of Navy ink. Allow ink to dry-once again, takes a while to dry. Do the same with the Whisper White ink-takes even longer to dry!! Swipe each color of the ink in the same direction. After the white ink is dry, turn the card stock 90 degrees. You will then swipe the darkest ink in long strokes over the card stock. Voila, faux denim!!

Rich Regals & Soft Subtles Watercolor Wonder Crayons, Aquapainter, Crystal Effects, Fresh Favorites Eyelets, & Crop-A-Dile

Thought I'd give you a break from Wanted and Bronc Buster :~). I used Apricot Appeal, Always Artichoke, Bordering Blue, and Brocade Blue Watercolor Wonder Crayons. I applied Crystal Effects to the dragonfly wings using a paintbrush. I used my Crop-A-Dile to attach my eyelets (finally used the Crop-A-Dile after purchasing it last summer). Oh, my gosh, the Crop-A-Dile makes punching and setting eyes SO EASY! I will definitely be using more eyelets now!! BTW, I bought my Crop-A-Dile at Hobby Lobby using a 40% off coupon.
